Fantastic Villa, Stunning Views

We recently returned to this villa for a holiday and basically, didn’t want to go home! The villa is very comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The outside space is especially beautiful with stunning views over the valley and the whole area is peaceful and tranquil. There are great restaurants nearby, Monte da Eira is a firm favourite of ours serving fine dining Portuguese cuisine. Loule town is only a few minutes’ drive away and the Saturday market is a must for local fresh fruit and produce. The villa itself is very well equipped with plenty of sunbeds around the pool which catches the sun all day long. There’s also a really nice shaded area under the carob trees for relaxing out of the sun. The property managers are always on hand to ensure everything goes smoothly with your holiday and we look forward to returning to Peacehaven again soon.

Wow- what a find!

After hours of traipsing the internet looking for a villa that would give us a pool for the kids, peace and quiet for my husband and proximity to restaurants for me, we finally booked Villa Peacehaven and a Peacehaven it was!
We pulled up at the gates and were pleased and by the time Fiona had finished showing us around we were jumping up and down like a couple of kids in glee at how happy we were! The pool was perfect, secure, stunning views, loads of sun loungers so you could follow the sun/shade around the pool, heated and near to the house. The villa itself was utterly spotless with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable including a deliciously quiet air con unit in our bedroom!
We ate out most evenings at a number of the nearby restaurants which were a short drive away or a very reasonable cab drive away with Mario! A Quinta was probably our favourite and we visited twice, we also loved Mem and Casa do Campo – all great with kids and all meant we could be back in time to watch the sunset on the balcony with a glass of wine. Bliss.
We did not want to leave and arrived home thoroughly rested and at peace. Thank you for a holiday to remember!

England – August 2015

Our 2nd visit and won’t be our last.
Beautiful villa with stunning views. A home from home with the bonus of fantastic weather. Thank you for having the Russell’s yet again x

London – August 2014

We absolutely loved Villa Peacehaven! The fabulous views, comfortable beds, tasteful decor, well-equipped kitchen, great barbeque, and amazing pool and patio area made for a splendid and relaxing holiday. After long days spent exploring the charming towns and beaches of the Algarve, we were always happy to head “home” to Villa Peacehaven, where our 4 and 7 year old boys could enjoy a swim in the pool and we could unwind in private and beautiful surroundings.

We highly recommend Villa Peacehaven to anyone wishing to stay in a countryside location with stunning views. We found the great majority of the Algarve to be highly accessible and easily reached by car from our central location near Loule. To the west, we made it to Lagos (lovely old town, great beach – Praia Dona Ana), and to the east, Tavira (loved Tavira Island)…and we could have easily visited Sevilla, had we not been there already!

Thank you again for a wonderful holiday.

“Just had a wonderful Christmas at Villa Peacehaven, peaceful, relaxing and wonderful weather, Christmas dinner in the sunshine, roaring log fire in the evenings and superb Christmas lights in Loule, worth the trip just to see the spectacular show, would definately stay at Christmas time again.”

“The claim that Villa Peacehaven is a ‘home from home’ experience is certainly true. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever stayed in away from home, the views are spectacular, there is a feeling of great space everywhere, and the place feels welcoming and secure for kids.
It is situated in a great area for access to the whole of the Algarve, with great seaside fish restaurants within 20 minutes drive, and wonderful rustic locals eateries available in Loule itself. The beaches nearby are great for buckets and spades with fairly fiesty waves for older ones.
Our children loved this holiday and we adored our evenings barbequeing fish and meat dishes lovingly spiced by the butchers from the local market and enjoying the Portuguese wines.
The owners really have opened up their home for others to share and that definately comes across when you stay there. We would recommend this villa to anybody wanting to discover the Algarve or simply enjoy quiet times in a beautiful place.”

“Just a quick note to tell you that we absolutely loved Peacehaven. We have stayed in a lot of villas over the past ten years and it is the nicest by far. I loved the garden, the view and the patio area is gorgeous. The interior is really spacious and had everything we needed. I’m glad we had a chance to share your holiday home and hopefully we might be back some day!”

“What an unbelievable villa. Beautiful surroundings and very tranquil, everything our family hoped for and more. The children spent most of the week by the pool”

We’ve stayed in multiple villas throughout the Algarve and this is the best, by far!  The location of the villa, the amenities, the quality of furniture, everything is perfect.  Ray and Fiona (the Managers) are great and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. Bernadette (the owner) was fantastic in answering queries before our holiday.  The pool is fenced off (perfect for young children like ourselves), there’s a large garden space, large BBQ, lots of sun loungers both around the pool and in shaded areas, and some excellent (and very comfy) garden furniture in the balcony areas.  We couldn’t find one negative to say about our whole experience…we would recommend Villa Peacehaven without a doubt. If you’re considering it, stop – just book!
